The Design and Prepress Department offers a wide range of design and prepress services: scanning, computer processing of images, imposition, colour separation, exposure. 

The main file formats we use are: TIFF, EPS, PDF, CDR. We accept also files in Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint, which we obligatorily transform into a suitable professional format, guaranteeing the quality print. It is recommended that all fonts are turned into curves or provided additionally.

Necessary resolution of the raster images:

For products with format of about A4 - resolution 250-350 dpi. If the raster image has also texts inserted – it is best if it is at least 300 dpi.;

 for a poster /about 300/400 mm/, the recommended resolution is 200-250 dpi;

for a product of A3 format, which will be viewed from a close distance, the file should be with higher resolution, as it is with the A4 format products;

As regards the vector images, the colours must be given as per CMYK or Pantone Formula Guide.

In order to avoid some inconveniences connected with the effects used in the file creation:

- avoid the effect of transparency in Corel DRAW;

- do not transform the raster objects into Corel DRAW;

Drop Shadows are to be converted into CMYK bitmaps together with the elements under Drop Shadows. This effect adds black colour and removes colour from the objects under it, therefore the colour of Drop Shadows is to be set as a mix of cyan, magenta, yellow and black.
